Default Newbie Creation Forum

So...I am correct in my understanding that the Newbie "Creation" Forum is meant for newbies to "create" an introduction of themselves to other members and that after a day or two it is time to move on to other forums?

To me, the description of the Newbie Creation Forum is sort of vague on what, exactly, it is for.
Is it meant for newbies to communicate with other newbies?
Is it meant to keep simple and assinine questions from entering other forums where more experienced members would have their time wasted on such questions?

I'm having a bit of a time understanding if I should continue with Newbie Creation when I post a new topic?

Thanx much.

Mark, likely best to post in the Reef forum, as the newbie creation was originally for info that new peole could reference. We're actually going to do away with it shortly, and expand on our article library.
