Default How fast will Blastomussa propagate?

I was thinking of getting some Blastomussa, it is a little pricey so I wanted to propagate some to make it pay for itself. What is the approximate doubling time of this coral?

Very slow & hard to propagate I think since it is an LPS. They do send out daughter buds if they're happy with the system they're in but I would not pin my hopes on propagation to pay for them since some local reefers I know have had either no luck with them or been able to maintain but not propagate yet. One of those species I would buy because I like them and not in the hopes of propagating. Of course, if you're successful, I'll be in line to get some of your buds.

Just my $.02 worth.

Anthony

I'm gonna have to agree with Anthony on this one. I've read of Blasto growing mad for some people, but from my experience (5 pieces in different tanks), it hasn't really been a "weed".

Blastos aren't that expensive (maybe $30-$50 per colony), it's Acan Lords that are expensive!!

I purchased a small 5 polyp group about 2 months ago. I've now got 7 polyps, but the 2 new ones are still very small.
