Byee is correct, that's a diode, basically a one-way valve for electricity. I'd test it first if you've got a digital multimeter. Set the multimeter to the diode symbol -->|-- mode, touch black (-) probe to the cathode (silver line/mark end)and the red (+) to the anode side. You should get a reading between 0.2 to 0.7 volts if it's still good, otherwise you'll need to replace it. I know SMI Electronics in langley carries them.
