My sump is too tall. There's lots of room (height) for the skimmer but I won't be able to get the cup out, there's only 6" between the top of the sump and the stand.

Sump is 20" tall
And 26" tall opening

That's a big sump, is it that big on all sides?

The cup on the BM curve 7 is 6.5 high from bottom of neck insert to top with lid on and 6.25 across, I just measured mine.
