Default how long is frozen food good for?

I have some stuff that's probably close to 2 years old, and some stuff that has bad freezer burn. Just wondering if it is garbage.

At 2 years I'd say its almost walking out to the garbage can by itself and you'll have to put heavy stuff on top of it to keep there. Doesn't frozen food loose its nutritional value after about 6 months in the freezer?

For the cost of food vs. the cost of your favorite fish, I'd just toss it. You gotta ask, would you eat freezer burnt 2 yoear old chicken?
