Wondering is anyone has built one and if anyone has opinions as to there effectiveness.

I've been thinking of making one and trying it to see how effective it would be.

It would probabily be more useful on a heavily stocked fish only tank which would develope much higher nitrate levels than a reef.

Plus who can pass up an opportunity to build and experiment will another piece of equipment.
