Whats the best way to add dry base rock to an existing tank??
Can you just stick it in the tank or is there a curing process, even though there is no die-off because there was nothing on it to die?? All the other rock in the tank is already cured. |

The baserock that I got sat outside in a storage bin for awhile (same with yours). I just rinsed off the dust and the few bugs that were on there and stuck it into the tank. However, when I had the baserock, I didn't have any LR. So I just cycled the tank with a piece of raw shrimp. After that cycle was complete, I stuck in the LR I bought.
BTW, did you get your tank yet? -Richer |

Ah... well, patience is one of the main components of this hobby I guess, before you know it, you'll be planning your next tank... cuz I know I already am!
