looking for 1 clown for my lonley guy

hi there im looking for a regular clown for my lonley guy. I have one small clown and i want to pair him up and let them get busy .

Not sure here... But would it not be best to purchase another one from a group in a store?
If yours is single, then its most likely turned into a female. And if you were to buy a single from somebody else, its probably a female 2, and 2 females would be bad news?

Ohhh serious i actually didnt know that....maybe someone could confirm or elaborate?

Coasting is right. I would got to the store and select a smaller fish than yours. I went trough the same thing. My lone female ended up killing one mate before pairing.

Clowns are born males, if they are alone or in a group with no females the dominant one will become a female. In your case your clown would have turned to a female. Getting a pair for your clown from the lfs where it has a lot of tankmates would almost guarantee you get a male
