![]() Hi I have two firefish living in a ten gallon.I just bought a neon goby and a clownfish is this good stocking for now?

![]() Standard rule of thumb is one fish per 10 gallons for SW but that also depends on how well your filtration/skimming is personally I would not put any more fish in there as it will possible lead to territorial disputes and possibly a heavy bio load

![]() It should be ok neon gobies stay small and are relatively easy tank mates to get along with just watch for fish stress and signs of aggression

![]() I would trade away one of your fish, and pair up your clownfish. IMO they should always be sold in pairs
|

![]() I'd get rid of the clown for a clown goby that stays small. There's no rule of thumb, it's more common sense.

![]() Unless the Firefish are a breeding pair they won't get along for very long. Maybe you lucked out and got a male and female. I think your tank is overstocked with the current stock. I also think Clownfish should always be in pairs. I think all fish do best with a mate, it's just tough pairing up many of them.
