| I've been doing some reading and they are also not considered reef safe. Will eat clams and soft corals.

| Has anyone tried treating with hydrogen peroxide full strength outside of the tank? I used 50/50 peroxide/tank water mix of the standard 3% solution a while back when battling my hair algae outbreak. All the corals and zoos bounced back within a few hours but my clove polyps stayed closed little specs for almost a week. This was after only a 2 minute dip.

| Someone mentioned aggressive use of activated carbon (I think) in that thread about cloves not too long ago. Cloves don't bother me. if i need to get rid of them, tooth brush always works very well and fast if i need a spot or want some other coral to get some room. |

| They can/will quickly grow in plague proportions, covering every bare surface in the tank.

| I've been reading, and apparently Panacur or Safe-Guard are suitable alternatives to fluke tabs. (dewormer) http://maxdraco.wordpress.com/2013/0...-hydriods-etc/ Also commonly used to kill hydroids! http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/archive...p/t-18312.html Last edited by Starry; 04-16-2013 at 01:14 AM.
