I have seen 1" union check valves at Princess Auto before...you might want to check there.

just got a 1" and a 1 1/2" from i think it was either totem or lowes in the far nw

i couldnt find it anywhere else either

Same as the one I posted a pic of? Can you pm me which location? I am standing in Lowes @ Cross Iron Mills right now and they only have the cheap white PVC no union ones.
