I bought a tube of GE silicon I since I heard that II might no longer be safe. I will be using it to mod a AC110. So can this silicon I be considered "reef safe"?

Maybe. Search on silicone and you'll find a few threads about it lately.

I don't think there is anything at Home Depot that is reef safe, best to use GE SCS1200

I will actually have to attach some baffles to mode the aquaclear 110. Can I overcome this complexity of choosing the right silicone? Perhaps use some other adhesives? Suggestions?
