Default Buffing out scratches in an acrylic tank

Hi there! I am wondering if anyone has any advice on how to buff out a few scratches in a new (to me) acrylic tank I just bought off Craigslist? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Another Chilliwack girl! I was mostly raised there.

What about the 3M headlight kit?

I have a friend who used this kit on her truck . . . her plastic lenses came out looking brand new, and it was really easy (so she says). I'm just not sure if they could be used on acrylic, or what the difference would be between acrylic and plastic.

Hi! yes, the headlight buffer is the last step in the whole process after sanding it with a variety of grits.. It looks great, but the whole process is too much for me, I can't even pick my tank up myself lol fortunately over all it's in good condition, just a couple of scratches on the front. I decided to just go for it. I spent the entire day doing the switch over, I really hope everybody survives!!
Thanks for the suggestion
