![]() Does anyone know where I can get a bulkhead (not purchased yet, so size doesn't matter) to 1/4" push connect adapter locally? This will be for the auto-topup we're building.
I can order one online, but I don't want to pay $20 shipping for a $5 part. |

![]() Two parts:
1) - 1/2" threaded bulkhead (usually most LFS have them) 2) - 1/2" Male NPT to 1/4" tubing quick connect fitting (most home depot stores carries them) |

![]() Awesome! Thank you
![]() Hopefully it'll be easy to find. It took me an hour and three associates to find "egg crate" the last time I was in. |

![]() Would this work in a bulkhead (of the single threaded variety, not double threaded)?
http://www.homedepot.ca/product/quic...4-in-od/913138 I think it should. |

![]() Not really... Those are meant to push in to a larger John Guest style fitting (it's a JG to JG adapter).
What you want is a reducing bushing in the case of a nonthreaded bulkhead - slip (to fit inside the bulkhead, and you have to cement them together same as for any other PVC connections) to threaded (that you then thread the JG-to-threaded adapter into).

![]() Okay . . . how about this?
http://www.homedepot.ca/product/pl-3...adaptor/913032 I'm pretty sure that's it. I passed over it the first time as I thought it went 1/4" threads --->1/2" Quick Connect, but I'm pretty sure it goes 1/2" threads --->1/4" Quick Connect. The Country Hills Home Depot (a stones thrown from my place) seems to have a lot of this stuff in stock, so maybe I should just go wander around the store for a bit. |
