Won't taking edits away just result in people having to create new threads every time an item sells off a multi item listing, which will just create clutter?

Don't ya think just replying to thread with item X sold is easier?? Seriously, if someone looking for a deal can't read 10 posts, then go to usedyourcity.com and look around.
Multiple posts for same items have always and will continue to be removed as duplicate posts.
This is not a topic for discussion, I believe the staff team answered the original question with the new editing guidelines.
