That's normal. The eggs won't hatch. I've also heard that they start laying eggs near the end of their lives...

It what I read too, that hares usually dies soon after laying eggs. Mine is still alive and looks very healthy. It seems that somebody hatched hare's eggs: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/inde...ded&pid=784019
