|  eco bio blocks Has anyone heard of eco bio blocks i am going to buy some from the states and i can get wholesale through my business  i looked on onedersave.com and they sell them on there. These balls hve a great review and testimonials for addition to tank to establish bacteria  any thoughts or has any one ever used for salt or fresh water  |

|   Hmmm, interesting concept though.  If I could find macro rocks in square building block shape I'd be in for that.  Much easier to use as base rock.

|   I suspect they will be similar to dry rock + bacteria additive (e.g. microbacter). Until someone tries them in a reef aquarium nobody can know for sure. Go for it and let us know your results. |

|   Be sure there is no silicate sand used in them. Silicate sand is bad for algea growth in reef tanks.
