Default Which Return Pump For 210 gallon Dual Overflow

what will be a good in sump return pump for a 210 dual over flow.

I am thinking something with 1500-2000gph at 0' head height.

laguna pond pump - its the same base pump that's used in teh Red Dragon and ATB pumps.

I would recommend the laguna 2000 so you can tee off and power your reactors as well. "one pump to rule them all"

these are VERY quiet pumps and replacement parts can be bought at any pond/major pet store.

I got this one for $29 when Princess Auto was clearing out their pond stuff last year. Using it to run a Beckett type skimmer right now (about 4 months so far), and way more power than my Sedra 9000 that I was using before. Will buy it again if I see it near that price again. No more noise than my Sedra.

Solutions are easy. The real difficulty lies in discovering the problem.

You could try a Waterblaster 5000 or 7000

I am using Posiedon pumps for my returns, I think they are rated at around 800 gph so a pair gets you close to the return volume you are looking for and they are dead silent, you will have to search around for them, seem to be getting hard to find.

I'm using the laguna 4200 on my 400 (with reactors and fuge off it as well) so the 2000 is a great suggestion. I'm very happy with mine.

That good to know Brett, I was thinking of using the same on the 300, I can't even recall if I could hear it running on my last visit. Or I might go with 2 - 3000.
