![]() you can actually use normal playsand to grown plants in. if your growing plants youll need to dose with ferts so anything works to grow plants. In my 50 gallon i have playsand and in my 10 and 20 gallons i have black sand. i have good plant growth in all tanks

![]() if you are looking for something specifically for plants look into flourite. most shops have it.
