Crystals in Magnesium
I purchased Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate from Eli and mixed a gallon jug about a month ago. I grabbed the jug to fill my dosing container tonight and I noticed a bunch of crystals had formed in the solution. I tried shaking it up hoping to dissolve the crystals but it's darn near impossible. I have the jug soaking in warm water now, hopefully the heat will help dissolve them. Has anyone experienced this?

If the container that you have mixed the two products in is not air tight this will happen . It is the chemical reaction that takes place, it will absorb ANY little amount of moister it can. I had a 2.5 gal pail of the two chem ( not from Eli though) that totally turned to mush & liquid. It is suggested that you only mix the two chem at the time of use for the longevity of the chems. Hope that made sence, running on 3 hrs sleep in 48 hrs, Damn INSOMNIA.

If you mixed both magnesium in a jug of RO water and is evaporating due to air leek you will have crystals forming. and I only recommend mixing the dry chemicals as needed only prior to adding water. An example from my experience I mix my chemical according to the recipe on the webpage in a pail that is shut air tight with only 1/4" hole for the draw of the pump then to the tank with no problems or crystallizing at all.
