Default tank may be coming down

Well in a month of sooner i will be selling off all my fish and all my corals Due to some problems at home i will be moving in to base, For a month or so to sort out some stuff. The bad news is i found out that i'm going to be going away lots this year and problably have to close the tank .due i dont have anyone to look after it out on the army base. and having the tank not drilled you have to manually top off the tank ,so i do miss the topp off
so tha is that in a nut shell. I'm thinking of either moving to Wainwright Alberta, or head back out tto the east.
Not sure what is going on time will tell.
later

mike

Mike, I'll baby sit a few of those corals for you for the price of a couple frags... Don't just sell them.. lend them out.. I'm sure lots of people would keep them for you if they are allowed to take a frag or two..

I know how it is, I spent 5 years in the forces, my wife was in the forces too. I'd be away for 12 weeks, a week before I'd get home she'd be sent to Germany for 3 months, a week before she'd come home I'd go to Halifax for 6 months, a week before I got home, she'd go to Massett for 3 months...

For anyone who thinks I'm pulling your leg, my ex and I went for over a year and a half with out ever seeing each other but we still lived in the same apartment.

Doug

There was a feature on TV the other day about Canadian Army couples... brutal... even those serving together can't mess about. Although one guy said it was cool because when they get to go on leave together it was as if it was the first time again. Pretty slick.

Don't know how you could get anyone other that Doug to sit corals for you, they'd be more like gifts...

If you're coming to Alberta you'll find a bunch of us out here. Did a little work out near Wainwright last winter - not nice for warm-weather types.

If you bring your tank, I might be coaxed into "storing" it for ya.

If you find out your going to Wainwright, let me know.I should be staying in the area(Ops and training has no plans to ship me out of the country again any time soon)I'll take care of your whole system if you want(already babysitting some corals )
I know what its like to be in the army and trying to keep a reef tank,so the offer is on the table Hope things work out for you.
