![]() Is there a reef safe fish, that will help control my snail problem? i have thousands of baby snails, and when lights go out they all come alive and cover my tank.

![]() what kind of snails are they??? personally i like snails and think they are great for cleaning but any snowflae eels i had would make quick work of any snail or cran that hit my tank with him i could never have any snails or crabs.....some of my other eels didnt care for snails though and they do find a taste for small fish later.
the best answer would be to just scoop them out manually every night when they are active...eventually you should make a dent in their population ![]() ***** edit**** reefsafe fish that eats snails arent really reefsafe then are they lol??? ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() you can use a spoon to scrape them off the glass if you dont want to touch them... thats how i get them out of my overflow... also if you just want to kill them and make a fish snack, just run your magfloat over the glass when they are on them...

![]() There probably not babies there asterna starfish(sp) and the snails are harmless too . I cycle between snail and starfish outbreaks , one day theres none the next theres hundreds then none again for a while . It will balance out soon enough .

![]() They are probably colonista snails. They are harmless and would be a clean up crew.

![]() I wish you were closer I would take a few(100+) for sure
![]() I would suggest to keep them as they are great for clean up, however a Cuban Hogfish or Checkerboard Wrasse, in my experience, would wipe them out in a few days ![]() |
