![]() i just got a heater for a 35g and it wont heat propperly, it cant hold a temp exactly because when i set it to 80 it heats to like 76-77 and when i go to 82 it will heat to not even 88 any ideas

![]() I would take it back.
I would suggest looking into another heater. I have a LOT of info about these heaters failing. In many cases, the heater stuck on and almost cooked the tank. |

![]() I wouldn't ever trust a built-in heater's thermostat. Just find a heater that can get hot, get enough of them and control them with something reliable.

![]() I'm running one right now. Its actually been very good to me. Still no jager. I have some that are 6 years old and still work like new
