Default Sept POTM - Dive Shots

September 2010

This months subject: DIVE SHOTS





Requested, but not required, members should post info about their picture. This could include a picture title and camera specs.

Entries will be accepted until Sept. 25th, 2010.

Entries to be posted in this thread, if you have troubles posting please either pm or email me the photo and I will help you post it.

For the winner you will have a snazzy POTM badge placed beside your user name





Voting to take place Sept 26th through Sept 30th.



Contest Rules are as follows:

1) You must follow the guidelines given for each contest.

2) ALL members including vendors can enter.

3) Photos should be submitted no larger than 1024 x 768 and a max ppi of 300.

4) The photo must be taken by you, and as long as it fits the subject you're in!

5) Each member can post as many pictures as they want, but only ONE can be entered. Please specify which one when posting multiple pictures or it will be chosen for you.

6) Have Fun!

Sorry for slacking on this folks, but the new POTM contest is up and ready for entries!!

I know many of us are also divers and I can't wait to see some of your best photos.

Oh, I have to play in this category!

....and I'm reminded that I'm now less than 1 year from my trip to the Galapagos... More fun, I need to start shopping for some wet photo equipment.

Lemon Shark off Bora Bora. When you light them up, they really are kind of yellow. This one was over 10 feet long and potentially nasty. One of the few times when I've felt a bit uncomfortable... See the little pilot fish in the 2nd photo?



Manta Ray. Hard to get a good shot because they love the plankton rich (murky) water.


A Lobster somewhere in the Caribbean.


Pretty...



Impossible to choose, but I'll call this one my official entry. I just like this shot for no particular reason.
