![]() i have a 24" 4 bulb t5 ho fixture and i was wondering if it would work over a 30" tank? i know that there would be 3" on each side exposed without a light but would that even matter?

![]() It would depend on what you planning on keeping in there, fowlr in it would be just fine.

![]() well i have it over a 15 gallon right now with my mantis, and a couple sps frags. and crap loads of macro algae... i dont get rid of it cause it looks sweet ha ha. but would those 3 inches on the side not have a enough light reflected into them?

![]() why not?......just be mindful of your coral placement......softies down low on the side and more light thirsty stuff in the middle
