The BM-qq is definatly a interesting skimmer.

It is ingenious that they have the air intake tube through skimmercup, to work like an auto-shutoff when the cup is full, as well as a drain. No air no bubbles, no more skimmate.

Only flaws I see so far are the footprint it takes up in a tank, and the narrowness of the clamps for the glass. It won't install without modification with tanks with a trim on them (hagen/marineland/etc), which are the standard you would use this skimmers on.

The good news is the new NAC-QQ resolves all this.

I will be talking to BM to modify the BM-QQ in the same way as the clamp is the same.
