Default help please

My maroon fish look like got punshed on the eye. its swallon and today I saw white on the back of it. I hope you can see it in the pic. Does anyone know what could it be and what meds I need to put the fish on? thanks.

just did a water test.

sal. 1.026
ph 8.2
nitrite 0
amonia 0
nitrate 20 ( 10% water change is on weekends)
calcium 460
kh 12

the fish is acting and eating as usual. Don't know why she got that eye infection, could it from the nam.?

If it is stringy looking it is a fungus and you can use an an anti-fungal product and use garlic extract soaked foods.

If it is not it is probably bacterial and the only product I would personally use is neomycin which is effective in saltwater. Most other antibiotics are not effective in saltwater.

Sounds like ich, recomend transfering it to a quarinite tank and treat. Do some research online and find out exactly what it is.

Sorry but I don't agree, ICH doesn't usualy make the eye pop out. Do a search on POP EYE.
