i have no idea what this is... any help would be great! sorry the pics aren't amazing but it's the best i can get!

LOL you're not kidding about the pics

Any chance you can step back from the subject to let your camera focus on it? The corallite detail is kind of lost (not that I know what it is anyways). If you post a sharper photo, I can crop it to the coral and repost it

Your camera really doesn't like that coral does it?

I'm not sure what it is, looks like some sort of acropora to me. I love those red polyps!
