| so i picked up a TDS meter today, and i tested my tap water, and it came out to be 160-165. i am guessing its not the best or the worst. so after starting up a few RODI threads, and then bailing on the idea, I got one put aside at red coral for me for thursday pick up. It will be another week before i have to do a water change, so i guess well see. |

| John good for you. About time. The tap water at my end of town is aroud 179ppm and after the RODI 000 ppm. Trust me it is a good investment.

| John do yourself a favor and get kevin to bring in a timer switch for your rodi unit too. I had 2 incidents involving overflowing rodi water in my laundry room until I got one. No problems since |

Does a good job of cutting the water. Although, I wouldn't rely on it 100% of the time. If you know you don't need to make RO/DI for a period of time, it is best to completely shut off the supply water to the RO/DI. This will prolong the life of the filters. |
