Default short skimmer for a 65 gallon tank.

Hey all.
got a short stand, about 24 inches clearance inside, are there any brands/models of skimmers that will fit in there and also do the job for a 65 gallon tank?

The eshopps 75 is a HOB skimmer. The best thing to do is go to Wai's, or Ocean City they are close to you and see what they got. You will need one with a short collection cup in order to get it out to clean.

Oh ya I see that now just looked it up. That would work just fine, the eshopps psk-100 might even work depending on how big the cup is.

I have an Aqua-medic Turboflotor Blue which can be HOB or in sump (I use it in sump) on my 70G and it's only 18.5" tall. I really like it and though I'm not sure who carries it in Calgary (probably Wei's) I got mine from Aquacave.com (they ship to Canada fine) and it's only $179.

I think its a great skimmer for the dough. Set and forget with a very large skimmer cup and really low power usage at only 12W on the meshwheel pump. Pulls a fully cup of skim-mate from my tank every week.

Something else to think about I guess.
