![]() Hi
I see that there are some missunderstanding about our salt mixes and used chemicals / Trace Elements. Fauna Marin Balling salts are made in a special process which is not made by the normal used solvay process. Salts in that kind of production depending on the quality a lot of unwanted Trace elements ( as sample Chloridoiron(III)-complexe ) and ammonia. This trace elements / ammonia and brings on long time run unwanted algea and brown corals. If you add only sodiumbi you will have a high risk of fallen PH Level and a instabil chemical system The next step which make the balling light system are our special Trace Elements ( TRACE B ) which provides grow and coloration of the coral exact in the dosing your corals need and that without any overdosing. They are many salts on the market sometimes there is the cheapest and worst quality in the boxes and which such a raw material you cannot get good and stunning colored corals. We add in our salts special Bio Polymers which stabilize the chemistry in the aquarium and provide the darken of the corals and feed the corals and supports and promotes the metabolism of the coral calcification. All together we have around 50 different chemicals in the salts and we use only purest salts. If you will have a ULNS System you will see immnidiatley the difference. rgds claude |

![]() is there a list of what exactly the trace elements you use are? and can we test for them? I am realy big against adding anything that can't be tested for as trace elements added blindly can add up to a non trace element pretty quick and some can have very negitive effects if they get above there natural level.

![]() If claude listed here what was added everyone would copy, so thats not really going to happen sorry.
But you have to look at the massive success of the salts especially in Europe and also know who Claude is to understand this guy knows his stuff and would bring on commercial suicide by adding stuff that was negative. Last edited by Aqua-Digital; 11-13-2009 at 10:59 PM. |

![]() Hi
All intregrated Elements are only used by the coral in a fix ratio with calcium and carbonate. so you never can overdose. Difficult for me to say what is exact in 1. you cannot test all on a easy way 2. i can and i will not show all my colleques how i develop my products this costs me years of work and thousands of Dollars to create a system which is absolute safe and will be used now from 80 % of all reefers in europe rgds claude |

![]() Strongly considering this method. At the moment I manually dose cal kh and mag and use Zeovit supplements daily. Would the balling light method eliminate the use of the zeovit and also other than a doser and canisters what else is needed to start this
Cheers Ray

![]() Hi
Balling does not replace the zeo method it is for mineral dosing. zeo dosing = nutrient reduction and colouration Balling = calcium reactor replacement and the exact dosing your system needs for Ca, Mg and Alk, PLUS trace elements to improve coluration further. You need 3 x canisters 1 x FM ca balling salt with the added biopolymers 1 x FM mag chloride 1 x FM sodium bicarb 1 x GHL 3 stage doser 3 x Trace element pack The reason i say GHL doser is that it is the only all in one 3 pump doser that can be serviced that comes complete with the relevant timers and functions required. Let me know if you need more help. |
