The tank I have now is just a custom cube, not the neo but it has been up and running since May but like you I started with established rock, sand and some water from the other system I had running.

Please note that my Neo nano tank has live sand and live rock and live water that has been transfered from a well established 175 gallon salt water reef tank.

Snitch..

Yeah corals will do well if there in the same water you got them from.

You're still likely going to have a cycle of some kind. Things still die off during transfers.

People here will give you a hard time about going slow and taking your time and for good reason. They speak from experience and don't want to see another new hobbyist give up because the tank crashes after 2 weeks. That said EVERYONE wants to see you succeed and will answer any question you may have.

You sound like you are off to a great start but you do need to slow down. NO MORE ADDITIONS!

Test pH, ammonia, nitrate and nitrates every night for at least two weeks, preferably four so you know what kind of mini cycle you are going through because your tank will cycle to some regard, perhaps so small that your test kits won't pick it up. After 4 weeks of no nitrite and ammonia you can think about adding another species.

"The only thing that comes quickly is failure." <--- This should be on the banner ad rotation of this site.

My tank has finally cycled there is algae covering my live rock, sand and glass. Over the past couple days it has bloomed into a wonderful world of the unknown. My Bi colored blenny is now named Blink and lives in his snail shell with his black eel head always sticking out. The algae is very light and can fall off with a touch, i can tell that my PH is changing although my coral are still doing great. I will post more photos tomorrow.

That's one way of putting it , if you mean did it release sperm/ egg into the water column then its a possibility. My snails do it when they get stressed out, btw your cycle will last longer than 4 days and what are your water parameters right now.
