Default Need some suggestions

I have a 90g tank that currently is a planted Freshwater system. However I do want to convert it to salt.
I was thinking of FOWLR system but have had some trouble choosing the fish I would like to put into it.
There are the fish I have wanted to keep for a while, like eels and puffers, lions etc. marine bettas and so on. But I wonder if just a few damsels wouldn't be better. I need some suggestions.
I have always keep the really nice and small marine fish in a reef system so I would like to try something else a bit more predacious or fast moving with a different character.
Your help is appreciated.
