Any idea what this might be? It seemed to appear out of nowhere. Looks like some sort of pod. Aliens, perhaps???

I guess you are right. It is starting to dissolve this morning.

I just can't believe one of my fish could produce something that size. If I were a fish swimming along and I saw that, I'd think, "Yikes, I don't want to meet the maker of that!"
