Picked up a few things for my 40G tank with some christmas funds.

- Vertex IN-80 Skimmer
- 2x 3/4" Strainer Fittings
- Spears 3/4" Gate Valve
- Ebo 125W Heater.

I wanted a Ushio bulb too, great price on those today, but I haven't decided whether I am going with 150 or 250 on the smaller tank...

I ordered 2 Tunze 6085 Pumps and some more media for my calcium reactor...only so I could get the free calendar of course

2 vertex 250 watt ballasts.
3 aqua connect 14000k bulb 250w
and some test kits.

does anyone know anything about those vertex ballasts?

I have a 250W Vertex ballast. Apparently they come out of the same factory as Icecaps do. My is running an Ushio bulb and looks great

I'm jealous! The roads were too sketchy so we didn't try to get into town today. Hopefully tomorrow tho (no sales but I want to pick up my Bellus angel!!)
