![]() Picked up a new cleaner shrimp at The Reef Shoppe today. Got it home looked at it obviously carrying eggs. Put in a container to start acclimating, looked in a while later and one shrimp turned into hundreds. Most of them are alive and moving around. Does anyone have a good method of keeping them alive? I've done a quick search here and found suggestions for feeding phyto, rotifers and BBS. All of which I have on hand. Temps of around 78 F, small amount of flow. Seeing as they are already captured I think I'll give rearing them a try. I'll set up a 2 gal tank tomorrow, airstone for flow, small chunk of LR, and some macro.
If anyone has experience with these guys please give me some hints. Links to good articles would also be appreciated. I know there is little hope of survival, but I'm always looking for a new way to drive myself nuts. Oh yeah, thanks ALOT Kelly!! ![]() TIA |
