not sure if this helps but Gold Aquariums has a sale on the JBJ 28 gallon with stand and everything for $$699.99 (I think)

none of the shops seem to carry this size in Calgary either, so if you see one around please let me know.

I'm pretty sure Big Al's in Calgary's NE (By chinook center) has all sizes of biocubes. Even the baby ones.
