Interesting lighting choice. I like the layout of the tank though very well thought out. And if the hid's don't work then you can always mount a 150w halide over that.!!

Thanks, I hope that it does work i figure that it will have to at least put out the same light as a Pc

i dont doubt that its intense enough the only thing i wonder about the light is what spectrum it puts out. looks great tho.

Well I was up this AM putting water in and found a slight leak around one of the baffles to I decided to empty the tank borrow the wife’s blow dryer and then reinforce the baffles with some more silicone. Sooo now I’m behind by 24 hours waiting for it to fully setup. But I guess this does give me some time to think about this theme ... I do have some DYI live rock that I can put in, it has been curing in fresh water for the last 3 months. I think that I’m some how going to keep with the do it with the emphasis on DYI… Hmm……………..

Well as many off you can see I have yet to have water in mine. I hope to have this thing up and running by nov 15th for a photo. This is due to a seperation between my wife and I. Hope to be competing against you guys and girls soon.

sorry to hear about the separation. hope you still continue with the tank. I am really interested in seeing how the lighting does.

ya it sucks but life goes on... I hope that our house etc will be sorted out soon so I can set it up and not worry about not being here for a week... I have lots of ideas for it though hope to still pull off some wow factor
