Default OLYMPUS Stylus 850SW

I have a number of digi cameras including a Sony a100, but am pretty excited about this inexpensive little point and shoot. It`s loaded with features and is 8 mp. I bought it because of it`s compact size and because I can take pictures of my kids while we are in the pool. We spend countless hours in there and I didn`t want to ruin one of my expensive cameras by getting it wet.

It`s waterproof to 10 feet without the optional diving case and shockproof from 5 feet.

I took a quick macro shot of a frogspawn in my nano cude to post here.

No acrylic tube or box needed. Just turn the camera and drop it in your aquarium.

Default camera

this really is a good camera, i've taken it for scubas and it works great. Mine is the 770 though and it goes up to 33ft and is encased in stainless steel. If you HAVE to have an underwater camera, this is the one!

Nice pic, I have the 720sw and can't seem to get very good macro shots from the aquarium, the colors don't seem to show true(and some focusing problems). What settings are you using? I better get this figured out soon for my up coming tip.

Fuji has a new one out too. 10 mp and waterproof to 10 feet, it isn't shock proof though. Anyone have any experience with it, I almost made an impulse buy yesterday. I've seen them from $199 to $229 at various stores. They come in green, blue and black. They are tiny, my big mitts might have trouble manipulating the camera.
