I love my Canon SLR cameras I have a 30D 8.2 meg and a digital rebel XTI 10.2 meg with several Image stabilization lenses. The reason I am looking for a P&S is carrying purposes. I have a large camera bag for my SLR's and It is difficult to carry them around wherever I go as well as I worry about my vehicle getting broken into when my equipment is in there. Thank you for all the input everyone. It will definitely help me make a better decision.

Hey Stan,
We picked up a Canon SD800IS last April to take on our walk about Europe. It did remarkablely well for the most part. I love the fact that you can take small videos as well. The only two negatives that I noticed was it struggles a little in low light and for the life of me I can't figure out how to take motion or fast action shots.. On the whole its a great pocket camera to supplement your DSLRs. Ryan |
