			 Hello,

Just set up 1 90 Gallon. I used water from the tap and used prime on it. Then I added my live rocks. Now I am being told that ro water is the best. So I went and bought some. I am using R/O water to top off the tank with evaporation. Is this okay? or should the full tank have been filled with R/O water. Thanks. |

Ideally, yes...but you'll be fine. Using RO water from now on is a good idea.

I personally have never had an issue with tap water in any of my tanks (I always let my water sit for 12-24 hours before adding it though) R/O water is a good way to go though! Just make sure the place you're getting it from is taking care of the machines and such!

Look up your local water company's water analysis online. They should make this information readily available to the public
