Default calcium test kit

Can someone tell me on a salifert calcium test kit on numder six of instruction manual
do you read what is left in the syringe or what you have used up.

wow that means that I read 0.7 on the syringe so I only have 150ppm of calcium? It is new ro with io salt with no live stock just water and live rock. The calcium level on instant ocean salt is very low

My bucket of IO salt mixes up at 370 ppm at a salinity of 1.025. Double check your test...that sounds a bit too low. Also, what's your salinity at? Have you checked?

If you're doing the low res, the 150 could be right (150x2=300ppm). I've found IO can be low, see here.

i never liked using the "low res" version of the salifert calcium because of the "low res" nature of it. You get so many tests out of it anyways.
