![]() I'm looking to buy a Green Mandarin Gobie that is feeding on frozen/dry food as well as pods. I have a 30 gallon system that is 2 years old so I need to find a Mandarin that is not exclusively eating pods.
Thanks Shane |

![]() go to your lfs and ask them to feed the tank that the mandarin is in. If you see it eat, then buy it!

![]() the chance of finding a mandarin at a store that eats anything other than live food is pretty much non - existent.
Realistically, the only way that you are going to find one that is eating frozen is from someone that has had it for a long time. I am pretty sure why that is why Shane is asking here verses just going to a store to get one. Neal

![]() If you can't find one that is already eating prepared foods, you can try to teach it.
I've had success teaching my fish to eat prepared foods by offering a variety of foods, and offering them frequently. I know its not the optimal solution you were looking for, but at least its an option. Good luck finding one that eats prepared foods! ![]() |

![]() I saw the mandarins (well 2 of them) at Wai's eating mysis...(calgary)
I also want the rose bubble tip there, but I'd say i need my tank setup first...fighting the urge to put everything in the sump first ![]()
