Talking Tang Ballet

I changed the flow on my closed loop, and my White Cheeked Tang seems to like it.

You think that looks like fun for a tang? I'm confused, isn't it continually hitting the side of the tank?

It's swimming circles around the outflow of the closed loop. It did this for a couple of days after I changed the flow pattern. It loves to play in any of the high flow areas of the tank. I'm guessing their natural habitat is in the high energy surge zone where the waves break over the reef. My son caught it with our old 3 mp camera, hence the poor quality. (I think he was laughing too hard to hold the camera steady)

I have a powder brown that acts similar. Every night as soon as the lights go out, it's doing it's best to swim into a Sieo 2600. I had to move some corals it kept knocking over. The pattern is repeated before lights come up. It seems to sleep the rest of the night.
