Default zoanthid placement

i was curious as to placement of my zoanthids for them to do the best. i have a 55 gal, 50/50 4/65w pc lighting. i currently have them about half way up the tank but when i see most peoples pictures they have the zoanthids near the bottom. where do you suggest for optimal growth?

Its hard to say.but generaly they are less forgiving of light than most other corals. From all the reading Ive done,it seems the more colorful come from shallower water. And the shorter skirts are found in higher flow, longer skirts lesser flow. They are pretty adaptable, all mine are do well where ever I put them.

They should do well wherever you put them. Put them where you like, and if they lose any color or dont open up you can move them higher or lower depending on where they started.

Lots of people here are running metal halides so even on the bottom they get more light than up higher with something like your PCs
