The 20K is great for color, but I wanted more growth. If you have 3 13K bulbs, why not put a 20K in the middle (I assume they are all running side by side)? That would be a perfect balance IMO if you want more blue.

Not that I'm trying to sell you my bulb or anything

Just an update, but the bulb has started to really whiten up. Don't see any blues yet, but the original yellow burn-in color is subsiding. That is normal from what I hear from other fellow reefers with experiencing this bulb.

If you don't want to pay for shipping, you can get this bulb from reefgeek.com but it's marketed as Ushio:

Just thought I would update everyone on this bulb. After the initial burn-in, the color is a nice crisp white. My SPS colors are also starting to "pop" with this bulb!

Anyone interested in trying this bulb should give it a try
