What is a good combo? I was looking at a Toby puffer and a dwarf Loin. My tank is going to be 50-65G.

Thanks,

Eric

You may have something there as Tobies (generally) are much less homicidal than some of their cousins. Tank size sounds OK, filter heavy though as Tobies can be messy eaters.

Thanks for the info Sushiman

What would be a good fish to have with this guy? I was thinking of One more here is my list (Dwarf/Zebra Lionfish, Undulate Triggerfish, Marine Betta, Wrasse, or a snowflake Eel). Can I have any inverts in the same tank with him? I was thinking of (a Linckia Sea Star or a Spiny Blue Lobster)

Thanks for the help.

Eric

Eric,

I think a dwarf lionfish and a snowflake eel would do pretty well in that size of tank. The snowflake eel may get to be a reasonable size but they arent active besides night time and when they get fed. Make sure you have a good skimmer as they can produce a fair amount of waste.

Thanks for the input steve.

I kind of want the puffer. How about the puffer and the dwarf lionfish or the puffer and the snowflake?

Thanks,

Eric

I would not put a blue spiny in a 50g they get huge. You would need atleast a 150g unless you got a small one and had a plan to move it when it gets big..As for the fish I have a dogface puffer and a leaf lip grouper(clown grouper) and they get along great.Hope this helps.

I will hold off on the blue spiny. I would love to get a 150 but I think the biggest I can get in my place is a 50G. So I want to find some options for a 50G.

Thanks for the help.
