![]() Julian Sprung and Charles delBeek's set of 3 books is the most comprehensive reading available to the hobbyist, but may be over the head of someone just getting into the hobby... (Credit Canreef's own Christy for the cover photo on the latest book!). John Tullock's Natural Reef Aquariums is a great book, and I also have Reef Secrets by Nilsen and Fossa... I think the best periodical is Coral magazine, as it tends to give more up to date info on the hobby from a worldwide perspective.

Out of the books that you do have, is there any that is specific to coral husbandry in captivity? I am sort of looking for something to identity all the different corals of the world, if that is even possible. Any suggestions? |

![]() That one and "Corals - A Quick Reference Guide" by Julian Sprung is good too... excellent placement tips, and a quick easy to use visual guide...
I'm lucky - one of my LFS gets them in and saves me a copy... he sells 'em for 10 bucks...

![]() Thanks for the info on the mags. As for the that book you suggested, I already have, it's a great book. I guess, what I am now looking for is something that is more for indentification purposes. If you will, a book that is detailed in pictures as well as describing the origin, location, etc.
