Default Burns Bog Fire

I am about 5 minutes away from the fire and I can barly see across the street right now. I am getting worried about the tank. All the smoke in the air has to be affecting the tank and its inhabitance. I'm tempted to shut off the skimmer to try to minimis the smoke being drawn into the water colum. Whats your thoughts???
Even our inside halls are cloudy with smoke. I'm waiting for the fire alarm to go off

If it smells in your house I'd shut off the skimmer. I know people have suspected that my woodstove has been the source of the problems I've had over the years (its about 6 feet from the tank)

No, we are far enough away from the forest. The wind shifted around 1pm today clearing the smoke away from us, but tomorrow morning will probably be the same. I have left the skimmer off over night in case the smoke turns around again and swalows us up again.
