With all the fancy plumbing required for 4 outlets I don't thinkn you'll get much flow out of a Mag 9.

Maybe try 2 smaller Mag 5 or 7's and use a squid on each for a total of 4 outlets.

I think it would work pretty well although it would be lots of plumbing.

What do you consider to be "alright flow?"

How far up are you pumping?

All depends and what you want to do with the tank. Me... SPS and more flow!

Need some more info...how is it drilled now? Sump? What are you going to keep?

I know you said you did not want powerheads but I would recommend maybe going with a Tunze stream that you could either hide in the rockwork or purchase the fake rock that houses one. Lots of water movement and easy to hide.

I would not recommend a Tunze Stream on a 20x20 tank. I don't even think Tunze recommends that.

If you want 4 outlets and no powerheads, I would use a at least a Mag 12 but probably a Mag 18. After all the head pressure and the splitting, you should still get pretty good flow from each outlet.

There I go not paying attention. You are right of course that would be major flow for that tank even with the 6060. If you are interested tho here is a link that shows the fake rock. You can also find them occasionally on e-bay.
